Supplier Diversity Training Program
The Greater Des Moines Partnership has launched a new Supplier Diversity Training Program for small business owners and corporate purchasing agents. Training will be a two-track virtual and hybrid program with one track for corporate purchasing agents and one track for small businesses.
For the corporate purchasing track, the first event in the series is taking place on Wednesday, July 14, focused on “The Role of the Supplier Diversity Practitioner” featuring speaker Kathey Porter, a small business expert with experience spanning nearly two decades in marketing, small business development, supplier diversity and entrepreneurship, who will present on key competencies and strategies needed to drive impactful organizational results. Other events are scheduled on July 21, July 28 and Aug. 4. Stay tuned for more details on small business programming.
